Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup strawberry preserves or jam
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
Instructions:
Mix heavy cream, whole milk, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl with a whisk until the mixture is smooth
Put the mixture in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight to cool it down
Put the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the machines directions until its the consistency of soft serve
Spread the strawberry jam or preserves in a small saucepan
Heat it over low heat until it can be poured
Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit
Mixed the strawberry jam and cut up fresh strawberries into the ice cream that has been churned
Put the ice cream in a container that can go in the freezer
Freeze it for at least 4 hours, or until it is firm
Serve and have fun
