Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillets, skinless and boneless
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple slices
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves for garnish
  • Olive oil for grilling

Instructions:

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Put the salmon fillets in a food processor after cutting them up into small pieces

Cut up the red onion, add the breadcrumbs, egg, cilantro, ground cumin, salt, and pepper

Then add the salmon to the food processor

Pulse the ingredients together until you get a thick paste

Cut the salmon mixture into four equal parts and form each one into a burger patty

Spray the pineapple slices with olive oil and put them on the grill

Cook for two to three minutes on each side, or until they have grill marks

They should be cooked all the way through after being grilled for four to five minutes on each side

Put the burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown

To make the burgers, put a salmon patty on the bottom half of each bun, then a slice of grilled pineapple, avocado slices, and lettuce leaves

Place the other half of the bun on top and serve right away

Have fun with your avocado and pineapple burgers that are grilled
