Ingredients:
- 2 lbs beef short ribs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup coleslaw
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
Warm up your grill or grill pan on the stove over medium-high heat
On both sides, season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper
Put the short ribs on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare or longer if you like them more done
Brush the hamburger buns with a little vegetable oil and toast them on the grill until they are just barely browned while the ribs are cooking
In the last minute of cooking, cover the grill and put a slice of cheddar cheese on each short rib
This will melt the cheese
After taking the ribs off the grill, let them rest for a few minutes
Then, cut them into thin slices
Spread BBQ sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun before putting the sandwiches together
A lot of sliced beef short rib should be put on top of the sauce
Put some red onion slices and a scoop of coleslaw on top
Add the other half of the bun on top, and if you need to, use a toothpick to hold the sandwich together
Serve your Beef Short Rib Sandwich right away and enjoy it
